Warranty Policy
Last updated: May 2026. Every Pico X Mould Removal job carries a no-recurrence warranty on the treated area.
1. Warranty at a Glance
- Spot Patch (Limited-time promo$199): 90 days, covering the patched area only
- Essential ($299/surface): 6 months, covering each treated full surface
- Signature ($400/surface): 24 months, covering each treated full surface
Don't pay more for a longer warranty — pay for the job done right. We back our workmanship and full remediation of this infestation; done properly, mould stays gone. Keep humidity in check and it won't come back. Stop humidity, stop mould.
"Treated area" means the exact surface(s) listed on your invoice. Adjacent or untreated surfaces are not covered.
2. What the Warranty Covers
- Visible mould re-growth on the treated surface within the warranty period
- Paint film failure attributable to our application (Signature tier)
- Re-application of antimicrobial treatment, sealer and/or paint as needed to restore the treated surface
- One free re-treatment visit per claim
3. What the Warranty Does NOT Cover
Structural defects
- Cracks, settlement, concrete spalling, rebar corrosion
- Roof, parapet, façade or external wall defects
- Defective construction joints or workmanship by other parties
Water and moisture ingress (any form of seepage)
- Inter-floor seepage (water from the unit above)
- Inter-flat or party-wall seepage
- External seepage (rain, façade, balcony)
- Rising damp from slab or substrate
- Plumbing leaks, valve failures, pipe condensation
- Waterproofing membrane failure (existing or by other contractors)
- Condensation from HVAC ducts, drip trays or insulation gaps
- Moisture migrating through the substrate from a hidden source
Diagnostics and detection
- Moisture meter, thermal imaging, borescope inspections
- Laboratory sampling, air sampling, microbiology testing
- Investigative scanning to locate hidden moisture beneath surfaces
Diagnostic work is billed separately if required to identify a non-covered root cause.
Environmental and occupant factors
- Sustained relative humidity above 70% in the treated space
- Inadequate ventilation or disabled extractor fans
- New leaks, floods or water-damage events after our service
- Renovation, drilling, sanding or repainting by other parties
- Pet damage, fire, smoke, accidental damage, force majeure
Out of scope
- Surfaces, rooms or units not listed on the invoice
- Furniture, fabrics, soft furnishings, personal belongings
- Cosmetic colour or sheen mismatch with adjacent untreated areas
- Mould originating from adjacent untreated surfaces or hidden cavities
4. Early-Notification Requirement
To keep your warranty valid in full, you must notify us as soon as you spot any re-growth — ideally while the affected area is still small and contained.

- Notify within 7 days of first noticing the re-growth.
- Late notification: if you delay reporting and the mould has spread beyond the originally treated surface, the warranty will only cover re-treatment of the original surface. Additional area, surfaces or deeper substrate damage will be chargeable at standard rates.
5. Claim Process
- Notify us early with photos and invoice number.
- We schedule a free re-treatment visit within 7 working days where possible.
- On-site diagnosis: our technician confirms whether the recurrence is a covered surface failure or a non-covered root cause (seepage, structural, environmental).
- Covered: we re-treat the surface at no additional cost using the original tier protocol.
- Not covered: if seepage or structural damage is the root cause, diagnostic work and remediation are billed separately. The surface warranty is paused until the root cause is fixed; once the environment is stable, the warranty resumes for the remaining period.
6. General Terms
- The warranty is non-transferable and covers the original paying customer at the original property address.
- The warranty is void on any treated surface modified, cleaned with abrasive chemicals, drilled, sanded or repainted by another party.
- This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Singapore law.
- We reserve the right to update this policy. The terms in force on your invoice date apply to your job.
