Why we paint with Gush Care

Most wall paints in Singapore fail in the same two places: the bathroom wall that never dries, and the bedroom wall behind a wardrobe where air never moves. Gush Care is formulated for exactly those surfaces — a washable interior film that resists mould regrowth rather than feeding it.

On our Signature jobs we apply it over a Gush MouldSeal primer once the mould source has been treated. Paint alone never fixes a damp wall, so if the patch is bigger than half an A4 sheet or the wall is damp to the touch, treat the cause first.

How much does Gush Care paint cost in Singapore?

A 1L tin is S$31, a 5L tin is S$101 and a 20L pail is S$339, in any colour in the range. Delivery is free on orders over S$100; orders under S$100 pay a flat S$15 delivery fee.

How much wall does a tin cover?

As a working rule, 1L covers roughly 10 to 12 sqm per coat and 5L covers 50 to 60 sqm per coat on a prepared surface. Two coats are recommended over a previously mouldy wall, so a standard HDB bedroom wall usually needs one 5L tin.

Is Gush Care safe for a bedroom or nursery?

Yes. It is a low-odour, low-VOC interior paint, which is why we use it in bedrooms and children rooms. Ventilate while painting and for a few hours after, as you would with any wall paint.

Can I paint Gush Care straight over mould?

No. Painting over live mould traps it under the film and it grows back through within months. The mould has to be killed and the moisture source corrected first — on our own jobs we treat the wall, prime with Gush MouldSeal, then top-coat with Gush Care.

What is the difference between Gush Care and Gush Clean Care?

Gush Care is the anti-mould interior wall paint. Gush Clean Care adds an air-purifying function on top of the same anti-mould base, and costs a few dollars more per tin. For a bathroom or a damp wall, Care is enough; for a bedroom where indoor air quality is the concern, Clean Care is worth the difference.

Yes, island-wide. Free on orders over S$100 and a flat S$15 below that, with no surcharge for any postal district. Orders confirmed before 2pm on a working day are normally dispatched the next working day.
