Quick Answer
Killing the colony removes what is growing today; it leaves nothing on the surface to stop re-colonisation tomorrow. An anti-mould sealer locks down the treated substrate and an anti-mould top coat carries residual protection, which is why warranty-backed remediation always includes both steps.

What the sealer does
Gush MouldSeal goes onto the treated substrate once it is dry. It binds the surface, reduces how readily plaster takes up moisture, and gives the top coat a stable base so the film does not fail early.
Skip it and you paint over an absorbent surface. The coat looks fine for a few months, then flakes or blisters at exactly the point where the moisture is worst.
What the top coat does
The finish is where residual protection lives. We use two systems, both over Gush MouldSeal:
- Essential Care — Gush Core, with anti-mould additive blended into the top coat. S$299 per full wall or ceiling, first surface S$199 during the current promo, 6-month warranty.
- Signature Care — Gush Care or Zinsser Perma-White, the higher-durability finishes. S$400 per full wall or ceiling, +S$150 per extra full wall or ceiling, 24-month warranty.
- Bathrooms follow their own packages: Toilet Refresh S$199 or Toilet Protection Pro S$320 with Pico X Bathroom Pro.
Why the warranty length follows the coating
The warranty is not a marketing number, it is the coating's realistic protective life on a treated surface in Singapore humidity. A more durable film holds its resistance longer, which is why Signature Care carries 24 months and Essential Care 6.
Nothing in the coating range makes a surface waterproof. A live leak, ongoing seepage or persistent condensation will defeat any paint system, which is why the moisture source is part of the job rather than an optional extra.
The step machine methods skip
UV, ozone and steam all stop at deactivation. None of them leaves anything behind, which is why they tend to be sold as a repeating service rather than a fix.
That single difference is the largest contributor to the 8.6 out of 10 our own protocol scores against 3.9 for ozone, 5.4 for UV-C and 6.8 for steam.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I really need to paint after mould treatment?
Yes, if you want the result to hold. Treatment kills what is present; the sealer and anti-mould top coat are what carry residual protection on the surface afterwards.
What is the difference between Essential Care and Signature Care?
Essential Care uses Gush MouldSeal plus Gush Core at S$299 per full wall or ceiling (first surface S$199 during the promo) with a 6-month warranty. Signature Care uses Gush Care or Zinsser Perma-White over Gush MouldSeal at S$400 per full wall or ceiling with a 24-month warranty.
Does anti-mould paint waterproof the wall?
No. It resists mould growth on the coating; it does not stop water arriving. A leak, seepage or condensation problem has to be fixed separately or the mould returns regardless of finish.
Which packages apply to bathrooms?
Bathrooms and toilets use Toilet Refresh at S$199, which includes toilet pipe treatment with optional pipe painting at +S$80, or Toilet Protection Pro at S$320 with Pico X Bathroom Pro and a 12-month warranty.
