Abstract
This controlled laboratory study tested 12 common building materials for mould resistance under simulated Singapore climate conditions (30°C, 85% RH). Cement-based boards showed 92% better mould resistance than standard paper-faced drywall. Antimicrobial paint systems extended colonization time by 340% compared to standard paints.
